Transportation
The easiest way to reach Carara National Park from Jaco is by car or taxi. The drive is approximately 30 minutes. Several bus lines also travel along the highway near the park entrance. Look for buses heading towards Quepos or Puntarenas and ask the driver to drop you off at the Carara National Park entrance. From the highway, it's a short walk to the park's visitor center.
