Transportation
The easiest way to reach Bad Saarow and Scharmützelsee is by train from Berlin. Take the RE1 regional train from Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) to Fürstenwalde (Spree). From Fürstenwalde, take the RB35 train to Bad Saarow Klinikum. From the Bad Saarow Klinikum station, it's a short walk to the lake. Alternatively, you can take bus line 431 from Fürstenwalde to Bad Saarow.
