Over time, the softer surrounding ash eroded away, leaving behind the dramatic Pinnacles we see today. Transportation
The Pinnacles Overlook is located along the East Rim Drive. From Rim Village, drive north along the East Rim Drive for approximately 6 miles. The overlook will be on your right. There is ample parking available at the overlook.
