Transportation
To access Buckskin Gulch, you have several options depending on which trailhead you choose. The most popular access points are Wire Pass Trailhead and White House Trailhead. **Wire Pass Trailhead:** From Kanab, drive east on US-89 for approximately 38 miles. Turn north onto House Rock Valley Road (BLM 1065). The trailhead is about 8.3 miles down this unpaved road. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended. **White House Trailhead:** From Kanab, drive east on US-89 for approximately 43 miles. The trailhead is directly off US-89. This trailhead provides easier access but requires a longer hike to reach the most scenic sections of the canyon. Check road conditions with the BLM office in Kanab before heading out, as unpaved roads can be impassable after rain.
