This drive-thru wildlife park offers an up-close and personal encounter with majestic creatures like bears, wolves, bison, and more. It's a fantastic destination for families, animal lovers, and anyone seeking a thrilling and educational adventure in the heart of Arizona. While Bearizona doesn't have a long, storied history like some historical sites, its creation represents a commitment to wildlife conservation and education. The park was founded with the goal of providing a safe and enriching environment for animals rescued from various situations, including those that can no longer survive in the wild. It also aims to educate visitors about the importance of preserving these incredible species and their habitats. At Bearizona, you can embark on a self-guided driving tour through the Ponderosa Pine Forest, observing animals roaming freely in spacious enclosures. After the drive-thru portion, explore Fort Bearizona, a walk-through area featuring smaller animals, a petting zoo, and exciting animal shows. Don't miss the opportunity to learn about the animals from knowledgeable staff and capture stunning photos of these magnificent creatures. While there isn't a specific culinary tradition associated with Bearizona, the park offers various dining options with classic American fare to satisfy your appetite after a day of adventure.
